Each year the Kiwanis Club of Corinth seeks applications from high school seniors from Alcorn Central High School, Biggersville High School, Corinth High School and Kossuth High School for our annual Leon Frazier Memorial Scholarship. The money awarded from the scholarship can be used toward tuition, books, supplies and anything else needed for a college education. This is the 20th anniversary year of the Kiwanis/Leon Frazier Memorial Scholarship. This year we will hit or exceed $200,000 total given to more than 250 area students. We are reaching out to any person who previously received a Kiwanis scholarship and their families to especially invite them to attend this year’s fundraiser where they will be recognized.
We will award:
- A minimum of eight (8) scholarships of $1,000 to Corinth and Alcorn County high school graduates.
- A minimum of one (1) scholarship of $1,000 to a Alcorn Career-Technical Center (ACTC) completer program student.
This scholarship program is made possible thanks to the sponsors and event-goers of our annual Leon Frazier Memorial Gospel Concert. Any business or individual who would like to partner with Kiwanis by buying an ad or sponsorship will be recognized in the commemorative printed program and all advertising prior to the annual June singing event.
